Intellectual Property Leader Dr Jenny Petering Joins MLS Bio Board

MLS Bio has announced the appointment of Dr Jenny Petering, PhD, ITPA, as Non-Executive Director, bringing more than 20 years’ experience in intellectual property management and biotechnology innovation.

Dr Petering is widely regarded as one of Australia’s leading IP experts in life sciences. She has played a central role in shaping international patent strategies for complex biotechnology portfolios, enabling the successful development and commercialisation of therapies across oncology, infectious disease, and emerging medical technologies.

Beyond her work at FB Rice, where she is Of Counsel, Dr Petering contributes extensively to the biotechnology ecosystem as a Senior Fellow at the University of Melbourne’s Law Master’s program, sits on expert panels for the Industry Mentoring Networks in STEM, is an angel investor with Scale Angels, and a frequent international speaker on biotechnology IP strategy.
