MLS Bio Appoints Global Investment Leader Mr Grant Dooley as Non-Executive Director

MLS Bio is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Grant Dooley, BA (Asian Studies), MIA, as a Non-Executive Director of the Board. Mr Dooley brings more than two decades of global leadership in investment, venture capital, and fund management, strengthening the company’s governance as it advances its oncology and antiviral pipeline toward clinical and commercial milestones.

Mr Dooley was the inaugural Chief Executive Officer of Breakthrough Victoria, where he established and led the Victorian Government’s $2 billion innovation and commercialisation fund. Under his leadership, the fund deployed over $350 million across companies, funds, and university platforms, positioning Breakthrough Victoria as one of Australia’s most active impact-oriented investors.

His career also includes senior executive roles in Asia and Australia, such as CEO of ARA Infrastructure in Singapore and Executive Director at Hastings Funds Management, as well as earlier diplomatic and trade postings with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), including service as Australian Consul-General in Guangzhou.
