MLS Bio Confirms Oncology Scientific Advisory Board

MLS Bio is proud to announce the confirmation of its Oncology Scientific Advisory Board, bringing together internationally recognised leaders in prostate cancer treatment, translational research and clinical development.

The Scientific Advisory Board has been established to guide the development of MLS Bio’s lead oncology program, MLS-269, as the company advances toward toxicology, regulatory engagement and clinical trial readiness.

MLS-269 is a first-in-class small molecule therapeutic program targeting CD151-associated biology, a pathway implicated in tumour cell migration, invasion and metastatic progression. MLS Bio is initially advancing MLS-269 in prostate cancer, with broader potential across solid tumors.

The Scientific Advisory Board will provide strategic and technical guidance across key areas of MLS Bio’s oncology development program, including clinical positioning, target product profile, biomarker development, preclinical evidence requirements, patient population selection, treatment sequencing, and future Phase 1b/2 clinical trial design.

The Scientific Advisory Board is chaired by Professor Charles “Chuck” Ryan, an internationally recognised prostate cancer clinician and researcher, and Medical Director of the Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials Consortium. The Board brings together deep expertise in prostate cancer biology, advanced disease management, translational oncology, biomarkers, clinical trial design and patient outcomes.
